Appearance:
Rodolphus was blessed to be the heir to the Lestrange name, but more so he was graced with the traditional Lestrange genes. Taller than the average man, Rodolphus stands an inch above six feet in height. His skin is light in color, but is not as fair as his brother’s. The skin tone is the canvas on which his long brown hair and hazel eyes are painted. Rodolphus has an average build and is not particularly muscular or particularly thin.
Personality:
Rodolphus is an extrovert who is extremely talkative. He is a complete gentleman and knows the fine points of life. Lestrange may appear a bit vain and shallow, but if you are fortunate to get to know him, you will get to see that he has a complex and intelligent mind. Also if you get to know him, you will see that Rodolphus has bad temper and can lose his calm countenance at the drop of his hat. Most of this is directed towards muggles and mudbloods whom he detests with an intense passion.
History:
On a cold winters day in the December of 1959 Rodolphus Beauregard Lestrange was brought into the world to the delight of his parents, François Lestrange and Isolde Huester-Lestrange. Rodolphus would be heir to the English side of the Lestranges, they originally hailed from France generations ago, but they had lived in the English countryside for years and married into the powerful families of England, Scotland, and Wales.
As a young child Rodolphus showed small signs of magical ability. Toys would be lost, but somehow would reappear in his hands. Like most children, these feats went unnoticed by his parents. However, very little time was spent for play. François had made it a personal mission to sculpt his heir into the perfect gentleman, to the point that his first words were “please” and “thank you”. By age ten, Rodolphus had learned all there was to know about the social graces of required for society men, including the ideals of pureblooded superiority.
On the eleventh year of his life, Rodolphus boarded a train to Hogwarts. Nervously, the boy awaited sorting. Lestrange’s had been sorted into Slytherin “since the time of Salazar Slytherin himself”, his mother proudly told him as they waited on the platform. Rodolphus would join the ranks of his ancestors as a Slytherin. During his years at the school studies would go well and he would begin to excel in Defense Against The Dark Arts and Transfiguration along with scoring high grades on theO.W.L.s. Midway through his years of Hogwarts, a beautiful woman caught his eye. Her name was Bellatrix Black. The moment he saw her, she took his breath away. As quickly as she came, she disappeared. Fortunately, Bellatrix would reappear later and this time Rodolphus would make certain she wouldn’t get away.
Currently in his sixth year, Lestrange is a Prefect. He has many friends and many enemies, but he likes it that way...it keeps life interesting...
